For larger projects requiring more than one container, combine containers and mix to ensure gloss uniformity. Do not apply in direct sunlight or areas of extreme air movement.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eApply with a pure bristle or polyester brush, low nap applicator or spry. Allow nap applicator is suggested for large flat areas, such as floors.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eApply a thin coat. * Flow on with minimum brushing to achieve a glass-like finish. For wood floors, use a low nap applicator or a natural bristle brush and maintain a wet edge to avoid lap marks. Keep area dust free.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePolyurethane will dry to touch in 6 to 8 hours. Overnight drying is recommended.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSand lightly between coats with fine sandpaper (220 grit) to produce a finer finish and promote adhesion. If sandpaper gums up allow more dry time. Remove sanding dust.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eReapply. For most projects, two coats are recommended. At 50% relative humidity and 70°F, Interior Oil-Based Polyurethane will dry to touch in 6 to 8 hours. Overnight drying is recommended before recoating. Dry time will be affected by temperature, humidity, and film thickness. Protect product from freezing prior to and during application.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWait 24 hours before subjecting surface to light use. Care should be used during the first week after application as the finish is curing to its ultimate hardness. In floor applications, avoid heavy traffic and replacing for furniture for 72 hours after the final coat. When replacing furniture, do not slide. Do not install rugs or clean floors for 7 days.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eCleanup\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eUsing a cleaning solvent, such as paint thinner or mineral spirits, is\u003cbr\u003erecommended for cleanup. The use of paint thinners or mineral spirits may violate VOC compliancy in your area. Check with your local government agencies to ensure proper compliancy.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ctable cellspacing=\"10\" border=\"2\"\u003e\n\u003ctbody\u003e\n\u003ctr\u003e\n\u003ctd\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eDANGER: Rags, steel wool, sanding residue, and other wastes used or soaked with this product may spontaneously catch fire if improperly discarded. No ignition source is required for these wastes to start on fire by themselves. Immediately place rags, steel wool, sanding residue, and other wastes used or soaked with this product in a sealed, water-filled metal container.
