Inspired by the historic 1910 Alexander III Equestrian Imperial Egg created for Tsar Nicholas II, this design commemorates the 1909 unveiling of the monument honoring Emperor Alexander III. The original masterpiece, crafted by master workman Henrik Wigström, featured a carved rock crystal body with platinum mounts set with rose cut diamonds and stood approximately 5.3 inches tall.

Its celebrated surprise revealed a finely detailed gold equestrian statue of Alexander III mounted on a lapis lazuli pedestal, symbolizing strength, leadership, and imperial legacy. Confiscated during the Revolution in 1917, the original egg remains preserved in the Moscow Kremlin Armoury Museum and is notable for its rare use of platinum in decorative art of the period.

Echoing that remarkable history, this hinged design opens smoothly to reveal a miniature equestrian figure inside, framed by luminous enamel, ornate gold tone detailing, and sparkling crystal accents. Presented in a padded satin lined gift box, it offers historic inspiration, refined craftsmanship, and timeless collectible elegance.
